Sylvia has always viewed the world from a different angle, resulting in her unique creative vision.
Informed by a deep love and respect for the natural world, and a passion for design, architecture and photography, Sylvia savors beautiful nuances in everyday life. These can be either objectively beautiful or artfully and creatively beautiful as she interprets them. She loves celebrating the eclectic, the ironic and romantic, preferably simultaneously.
As an award-winning creative professional, Sylvia spent ten years immersed in strategy, advertising, PR and branding, including a memorable stint with one of the world’s leading international full-service ad agencies.
Throughout her travels, she appreciates that the camera has allowed her to move beyond language barriers, allowing strangers to communicate in unspoken ways, like members of a secret club who understand the magic in making time stand still. This enthralls her.
Sylvia is a philanthropist, an animal advocate and aspires to be an ethical vegan (but sometimes fails). She resides in a historic fishing village with her husband and their rescue greyhounds.
